I’m a perfectionist by nature. If I’m going to put much time and energy into something I want it done right — not just ANY “right” either — “THE RIGHT WAY”(tm). I spent many a year in my life believing that there was only one right way to do everything. So, I would wait to begin anything until I had figured out “THE RIGHT WAY”(tm). See, this is the nasty little secret about us true perfectionists; we don’t start anything until we know it can be completed perfectly.
And yet, sometimes we still fail. Ahem, moving on.
As I grow up (an ongoing project of mine), I’ve realized more than there may be very few things in this world where there is “THE RIGHT WAY”(tm), but there may in fact be more than one proper way to fold a towel. (Just saying.) What I’ve actually learned is that it is far better (and more lasting) to begin as you mean to go.
And that is in fact, what I fully intend to do. I have no idea what The Bloke intends; but I intend to begin anew.
I make no promises of perfect, but I do promise that we have spent many an hour thinking plotting and planning and hoping that the fruits of all that beginning will amuse and entertain you — and if you think a bit or experience something new; all the better.
So, here we are beginning.
