There was big news this past week – and we didn’t talk about it…  We didn’t say a thing about the new iPhone this week!  The other big news – somebody had a birthday…

The week we were gone was the Italian Grand Prix at Monza, and while Lewis Hamilton won the race handily – much like Jenson Button’s win the previous week at Spa, the win wasn’t the real news…  No, the real question is, what’s the deal with Lewis and Mclaren? That and can Lewis keep it from affecting his driving?

This week we learned about the “Most Interesting Man in The World” turns out he lives in the less interesting state of Vermont.

Some gas stations in NJ stage a protest that we don’t completely understand.  While some parents try to take some pre-emptive action on their potentially unruly kids on a flight.

Ryan Air’s CEO consider’s their fees a form of Stupid Tax.

And Carnival is killing off their Future Carnival Vacations Program, which actually isn’t the same as killing off future Cruise Sales… we think…

The summer is just about over and F1 is back, and one of us (probably not the one you think) is really excited for it’s return.  There was A LOT that came out of the race, and if you’re not an F1 fan you probably want to fast forward through the first 39 minutes of the show…

The big winner this weekend was Jenson Button, who got his first Pole Position driving for McLaren and won the race.  However Jenson’s win was probably the least dramatic thing to come out of this past weekend at Spa.

F1 Boss, Bernie Ecclestone, hints that F1 legend Michael Schumacher may be about to retire – even if Michael doesn’t quite think he is…

Lewis Hamilton made a questionable post to Twitter after Saturday’s Qualifying.

Carnage – that’s the best way to describe the first turn of the opening lap, and an incident that earned Romain Grosjean a 1 race ban and a 50k Euro fine. Although with 6 drivers ultimately failing to finish the race there was a lot a carnage to go around.

Apparently the long break didn’t settle down Williams’ Pastor Maldonado who earned not 1 but TWO separate grid penalties for next week’s race at Monza.
